For others who wrote, the healthcare bill as written is not what's before The Supreme Court. The high court will rule solely on whether the "individual mandate" in the so-called bill requiring Americans to buy health insurance or be penalized/fined for not doing so is constitutional. That will have a major impact on this largely unwritten, indecipherable piece of legislation that, for the most part, asks the electorate to trust and have faith in a largely untrustworthy, unscrupulous body of politicians who do their utmost to entrench themselves as a privileged, unaccountable ruling class. American politicians of all parties failed America and all their constituencies by crafting, or fighting without offering an alternative, an incomprehensible bill addressing medical care, insurance and who knows what else with irrelevant amendments and riders, then telling the electorate to trust them 'cuz they would "fill in the blanks" once approved; a thoroughly unacceptable way to construct policy, conduct business or whatever you want to call such a process. The bill and all related debate are disgraceful and more-than-ample reason for Americans to vote out of office every elected official in the house, senate and executive branch, regardless of party, when election time arrives in November. Yes, I am angry. At all of them. Haven't voted for a winner in years except in local elections. Good luck, Richard. Do hope you're well now. Greg Rubenstein Sent from my iPhone
