Can't help but think back to my wife's comments about the HS graduation photo of my #2 son. She said, "We invested a fortune with the orthodontist to get his teeth in good shape, and he won't smile enough to show them". As to your comments on your medicine regimen, I can relate to that somewhat. I had two mechanical heart valves installed in 1993, and have been on the anti-coagulant, Coumadin, ever since. People warned me it would be a problem, but, except for giving up my razor, it hasn't been too bad. You get used to it. Good luck with your recovery.
