Lightroom (3.5) does not support this camera's RAW format as yet, so I have not started shooting RAW (neither has Howard as far as I know). The last thing I need is yet another RAW conversion program on my desktop! (-: Thanks Jayanand Same here, he wrote while downloading 3.6 :-) For any style or genre of photography, which does not require lenses the size of bazookas, this would be a good choice. I still keep the x2 crop L1 and excellent Oly XXlong glass for that In case you are desirous of using Leica M lenses, I'm not, probably I am a heretic on the list; not on the head svp you would also have to check whether the viewfinder is good enough for critical manual focusing - by and large, I am an autofocus user, so this is not an essential requirement as far as I am concerned. Exactly what I feel too - (fast and accurate) AF is such a bonus I couldn't do without nowadays. I just need a good resilient camera that is light, uses good glass - superlative is out of my reach -, and user friendly for a change :-) Keep me tuned with LR and raw please. TIA Philippe, in pragmatic mood these days Cheers Jayanand On Tue, Apr 10, 2012 at 1:36 PM, wrote: > Very nice indeed - I'd be curious to know how the raws behave when you > fiddle with them, any better/worse than the D700? > I was in the shop last Saturday but they didn't have any I could try.
