To increase the yield, there is a power save mode that will get you up around 350, but it reduces the focusing speed. I suppose you could also shoot JPG, which would reduce write times and the power needed from that. As to a Fuji adapter, I would not be surprised to see the ability to set focal length via a 1-6 switch (the camera has a menu where you can assign a focal length to "lenses" 1-6). A rudimentary distance encoder would help adjust the framelines to the right size when zone focusing with wides.
