I took a 1968 Triumph TR6R on the old road in the 90s and remember a lot of neat things up that way.? It should be a great place to photograph!? Good luck which ever way you decide to go! ? My original plan was to fly to Phoenix Monday and spend a few days photographing, and visit the Gene Smith show at the Phoenix Art Museum etc. For various reasons, I am now thinking about doing a road trip instead. It's only ~720 miles to Phoenix and 12 hours so I can do it in two days and do most of the photos during the driving part. For those who know the area, I will be coming down I5. The most straight forward way would be to take I10 across the State line, but if I were to visit the Grand Canyon, looks like I should take 15, then 40 (and the famed Route 66?!) to the South Rim. I heard that the North Rim is less touristy, but it may be too far out of the way? Anyway, any recommendation? I would be nice to drive through Death Valley too?! -- // richard <http://www.richardmanphoto.com> _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
