Oh.. so now the cost of the camera and a lens to actually use the quality of
the sensor is what, $17K?
I must admit that my M8 + 50 Cron ( Pre everything that starts with an "A")
is probably good enough for my purposes and certainly better to fit my
budget....and resultant purposes.
PS: I have always speculated that AA got his cameras/film/chemistry/etc.
for free for trying stuff out and testing and advising the manufacturer on
the results.
For free I too NEED a M9M + 50AA

The effective resolution from this baby is equivalent to a 36MP Bayer-layout
sensor. It just about NEEDS the mind-boggling superb APO-Summicron 50mm
ASPH.
