Two years ago, we planted a "bare root" cherry tree. A couple of months ago, I posted a picture of cherry blossoms. Last week, totally hidden by leaves, possibly fooling the birds :-), were three or four small bunches of bing cherries, perhaps about thirty cherries in all--and delicious!!! A few were the typical dark red color, but most were still a bright red. They tasted the same, however. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/herbk1/L1002009.jpg.html -- Herbert Kanner kanner at acm.org 650-326-8204 Question authority and the authorities will question you.
