Photo.Net used to be pretty good, though I haven't been there in a while.

Can't recommend flickr for two reasons:? first, most of the prolific 
commenters wouldn't know a good photograph from a freedom fry, and second, 
most folk looking for photos to steal start there, knowing that most posters 
would be thrilled to pieces that someone liked their work enough to steal it.
