There are three flights a day from Port Washington on Pender Island to the seaplane terminal at the Vancouver airport. The flight takes about 15 - 20 minutes - much better than the 3 hour ferry ride - and with ferry fares for cars climbing all the time - not that much more expensive. Here is a 3 panel pano of the seaplane landing. Taken with the GH2 and the 14 - 140 zoom at 140mm f9.0, 1/500, ISO 160 and processed in CS5. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Canada2012/3Panseaplanew.jpg.html http://tinyurl.com/cgw5pd7 Please look large, C&C always welcome.
