John,
Mark is the master of pontificating on cameras he has probably not even 
seen, let alone touched, based on deeply held biases!

Mark, 
If you think Edwin Putts is an independent reviewer, please feel free to use 
him as you primary resource. Personally, I think he is a Leica fanboy, and 
will only use him as a secondary or even tertiary resource, when I have 
scuttlebutt to aid me.

But my question still stands - when can we expect reviews from truly 
independent sources?

I am actually looking forward to seeing prints taken with the M Monochrom, 
rather than jpgs on the net. I did download and also played around Jono 
Slack's DNG files.  They were nice, but I did not see anything extraordinary 
in them.
