The leaves fall off all of the trees (Except pine trees, but they're not common here), and the ground is covered in heavy snow most of the time. At least that's how it was most of my life. In the last few years, our winters have warmed up quite a bit and there has been less snow. The leaves still fall off the trees, but we seem to get less snow, and it seems to melt within a day or two now. A lot of people here are global-warming deniers, but I think it is obvious our climate right here in Indiana is changing. Our summers are becoming drier too. This summer, we have had almost no rain. Last summer, same thing. It used to rain a couple times a week here in the summer. Used to be cold winters with lots of snow and below-freezing temps, and hot summers with lots of rain.
