What Fuji had over the competitors for several years now is a sensor that can shoot at high ISO without noise. I would be happy to shoot outdoors at ISO 400 and f/4 for street. I'm still trying to get up to speed with HDR. For me, most serious digital cameras have way too much in the way of nested menus. I've never seen a Leica M9, but the M8 is feature-laden enough for me.
