It was avoidance tactics before, now done my tax return so: Philippe was shooting 1/180 @ f3.5 at 1100ASA with +1 EV So 1/30th @f2.8 would be for ~65 ASA, perhaps a 1.5 stop filter (polariser?) at 160 ASA? Hood is sticking forward of the filter so cannot be rotated though. As an aside, how many right-eyed photographers would shoot portraits that way rather than shutter release on the top? john -----Original Message----- On my screen, there appears to be a tab at approx the 11 o'clock position in your photo. She is apparently holding on to the focusing tab, so I would suspect that the filter is a polarizer.
