Subject: [Leica] I was curious about the cost to rent.....

S2 with 70mm lens..

 

$570 per DAY.

 

By means of comparison,
Hassy 501 with 80 is $60 a day ( Film)

Hassy H4 + lens with no back is $120 a day plus Phase One P65+ at $500 a day
( total of $620 a DAY)

 

At that rate, they must be rented to oligarchs, dot-comers who cashed in
their stock, and very,very,very well paid photographers.

 

Makes the $3500 a week for a Hasselblad course seem cheap.. ( they bring out
a complete system with the course.  You borrow what you wish)
