Brushing you off would be ignoring what you say. I talk to and read posts / blog from lots of pro photographers, most of them not commercial but rather "fine art." Some of them have flat out that one would be an idiot not to put a copyright symbol. Others have said what you say. So I make my decision for myself. I would never tell anyone to do what I do, just because I do it that way. It works for me. It does not work for you. I understand that. If it detracts you from enjoying my photograph, then that's just the price I pay. I take plenty of photos not enjoyable by others. So that's not much I can do about that. I do take input and criticism. Since no one else has complained - and of course that statement is different from saying no one else agrees with you because some photogs do - and that's considering on the other forums and lists that I post this on, and it has gotten a number of kudos, I take your advise as advisory. If it comes a time when more people complain, then that's another story.
