Sorry, its impossible, and always will be. To view the image, site visitors' computers MUST download the image to the browser cache, and from there it is not hard to save it permanently on the visitor's computer. Why do you care? Will the images have real commercial value, or is it just internet paranoia? If the photos have potential commercial uses, post them small enough to be unusable, say 640 pixels on the long side. That gives a 2 inch image printed! That's what I do on my website. You could also watermark them, at the risk of making them ugly. -- Chris Crawford Fine Art Photography Fort Wayne, Indiana 260-437-8990 http://www.chriscrawfordphoto.com My portfolio http://blog.chriscrawfordphoto.com My latest work! http://www.facebook.com/pages/Christopher-Crawford/48229272798 Become a fan on Facebook On 2/16/13 1:31 AM, "Steve Barbour" <steve.barbour at gmail.com> wrote: >We are searching for a secure web site to be used by a class of 50 that >will post their photos. >We wish it to have security so that others while they cannot post or >download, may or may not be able to see the images. >The members of the class should be able to post, but not download photos >of others, or e-mail photos of others out of the web site. > > > >Do you have any suggestions? > > >Steve > > >_______________________________________________ >Leica Users Group. >See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information
