It acquired a fungus. When I realised that I still had it when we were moving, I had visions of the rest of my lenses being similarly affected, but luckily no!! All are clear, so I dumped the Hanimar in the disused fish tank. Ireland has a mild temperate climate and I never thought I'd see fungus like this on a lens here.
