Subject: [Leica] Bought a Mamiya 6!

The only thing wrong with Tri x in a discussion about slow and ultra slow
ultra high rez film use is it has nothing to do with it. Its in effect the
diametric opposite.

The Mamiya 6 like many medium format cameras are very much at home on a
tripod where it can emulate sheet film use results with slow film and
intelligent developing. Emulate does not mean equal though.
But view a mural size print and the grain is near not there and the
resolution and depth seems as good as it gets.

I never by the way got anything close to this in the medium format tri x pro
I used or even plus x 220 or 120.
I got it with Panatomic X, Pan F or agfapan 25 in Beutler or Rodinal. Or
Rabinal.

But when shooting sheet film fast or slow did not seem to make much
difference. Anything you did you were miles ahead of most anything you're
going to do with any size roll film. Tap dance on it when its still damp.
Dry it with a hair dryer. Print it when its still wet. Its all good.
Shuffle it and cut it from the middle.
