They are very good. At least comparable to a Leica IMHO (don't flame me). I can use my M and LTM lenses on them with decent results (even a Jupiter!)and I have a good quality zoom lens in a package which makes my camera bag feel empty! Would I shoot Leica again. OF COURSE, YES! and when I can I will. It is like no other camera or system. But I can't afford the cash cost of a comparable digital M, and the overall cost of getting film, processing and building a good workflow isn't merited by someone who, like me is only a serious amateur.* Peter * PS Yes I have discussed the costs - and photographic merits - with SWMBO PPS All serious suggestions welcome. PPPS No, nothing quite beats shooting film. etc etc On 03/04/2013 20:21, Gerry Walden wrote: > I came across this interesting short blog posted today: > > https://nicole-struppert-rwec.squarespace.com/blog/2013/4/3/back-to-old-habits-or-looking-foward > > As always it looks like 'horses for courses'. > > Gerry > > Gerry Walden > +44 (0)23 8046 3076 or > +44 (0)797 287 7932 > www.gwpics.com > > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > -- =========================================================== Dr Peter Dzwig
