Subject: [Leica] Is Eggleston in the right? What is the meaning of "limited edition"?

I think the issues are not "one size fits all."

For artists whose work is only sold occasionally, then everything is
"limited edition" by definition :-)

For really popular artists, limited edition primarily benefits the
secondary market and limited the amount you can print.

For the in-between, then limited edition may generate a bit more revenue.
