Judging just from the web sizes, these do look to have the focus close to
where you want it, Marty.
My personal preference is for a little more DoF (~f/4 here). In the first
portrait of the man with weathered face I was expecting sharp sharp and
dramatic detail. Both just preferences of course. The light, composition,
exposure are very fine.
