A CD/DVD would have become obsolete over that period of time, would it
not?
And 3 years, who keeps a camera for so long?
So what's the big deal?

JOHN ?responded by noting how many people use older versions of CS.

I agree with John. I am one of those people. I don't need the latest. I am
content with what works and what I know how to use.

Given that I hang on to my software for a considerable time, does it make
sense to pay $30 a month?
Let's say I pay full retail for Photoshop. That must be about $600. That
price is considerably steeper?
than putting out $30 a month, but thinking this out a bit, after about 20
months I will have spent the $600
in rental costs and will not own the program. I'll still be on the $30 a
month treadmill which may be $40 by then.
Why would I do that?

I will stick with CS4 and start looking at alternatives.?

Adieu, Adobe.

Doug
