The Beech Model 18 used 450 HP Pratt & Whitney radial engines, conventional gear ( although a few were converted to tricycle gear), and was not pressurized. The King Air series uses P&W Turboprop engines, is fully pressurized, with tricycle gear, and is currently Beech's best seller.
