It describes how to use a common electrical meter to measure the voltage across the contacts of a flash unit. http://dpanswers.com/content/genrc_flash_measuretv.php I hope it is helpful to you. Plenty to chew on there. I see from that link that two of my old Minolta flashes and my old SB28 Nikon have very low trigger voltages anyway. The down side of my Minolta 4000AF is it's massive and bigger than the camera! Now all I have to do is find out how to test the trigger voltage on the Sakar, but Google is my friend, and thanks to the NSA a very, very close friend...... :-) Douglas ----- Original Message ----- From: "Dennis Kushner" <dennis.leicam6 at gmail.com> To: "Leica Users Group" <lug at leica-users.org> Sent: Wednesday, June 19, 2013 12:18 PM Subject: Re: [Leica] Off topic - possible frying problem > LIst of trigger volts of many flashes. > http://www.botzilla.com/photo/strobeVolts.html > > _______________________________________________ > Leica Users Group. > See http://leica-users.org/mailman/listinfo/lug for more information > _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
