LEICA ELMARIT-M 21 mm f/2.8 ASPH. 020221_125618x Date: 02/21/2002 A magnificent portrait I'd like to think though I wish she was not moving so fast into the camera making a slight blur effect with her tail. I did a thing for several seasons (more than four actually) where every morning I posted in that seasons gallery the best shot I'd done from that day of the season. Going back to about 2002 when I started doing digital files. But I'd post sometimes a half a dozen as I was very happy about them and would decide later which single one stayed in the "Summer" gallery folder for the June 27 slot. As I'd done a search on my Adobe Bridge for June 27 or in my exact case 0627_ That's the numbering scheme on all my digital files. And tried to edit the five star ones down of that day and see how they crunched (or tweaked). So this shot was 020221 which is 2002, February, the 21st. And the best way to rate a shot as to which is best is to see it through a few others eyes. And apparently there was a better shot done 21 Feb which ended up staying in the Winter gallery. (which I deleted but I see Spring is still there) http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/lugalrabs/springdays/ Most I'd delete after a few days but a few I could not bare to let go so I put them in the "reject" folder. Must think of a more positive name. "gently used?" no that's not the point. I think what we are seeing in that expensive photo magazine is a full page Canon ad facing an editorial page on Sushi. Canons are my least favorite of the main cameras and one of the few I've never owned. I find them to be pretentious usurpers. Arrogant and conceited. I know this without doubt became I have never actually touched one. With that annoying large wheel on the back. What the hell is that for anyway?!?
