Leica sold more of these rebaged Fuji cameras than any of the other early digital models. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Digital+Leica.JPG.html In fact it was a pretty good camera despite having only a 1.3 MB sensor. The lens was sharp with little distortion, the viewfinder, excellent. And it focused in half a jiffy. Despite being made in Japan it was constructed like a Tiger tank. No video, no sequence shooting, nothing but a camera. The only real problem was that it took a Smart Media card and those were limited to 128 MB capacity. But with the camera's small file size you could put up to 80 images on a card. I loved that camera and still have it.? Here are some pictures with the Digilux Zoom so you can see the image quality. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Norway+138.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Is+it+real_+.jpg.html http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Break+time.jpg.html As long as I've accessed the Wayback Machine, my favorite Leica film camera is a Frankencamera version of the IIIc assembled from the discarded parts of old Leicas from photo store junkboxes. It works like a dream and I use it whenever I feel nostalgic. It takes great pictures and it also fits in my pocket. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Larry+Z/Recovered+IIIc.jpg.html Larry Z
