When Susan and I were married (1968), the photographer asked if we wanted
color or b&w. Being a smartass even then, I asked if they had only two
cameras. Fortunately, we picked b&w, and believe it or not they still look
good today. The color ones would be long gone.

We had a bunch of kid's and grandkid's wedding photos on display at one
time, and I added a copy of our own wedding photo from 1951, which was in
B&W, as were most at that time. One of the younger ones asked why we were
married in black? The marriage was at my wife's home, and we both wore our
best blue suits. No fancy duds for two college kids.
