Glad to be back. The forum seems to be dead.
I try to use an old pair of 10x40B Trinovids. Unfortunately the eyepiece 
lenses were not well cared for by the first owner and I think it may soften 
the images. I'm afraid to even ask Leitz how much it would cost to fix. One 
thing is certain however. I've never encountered a better built set of 
binoculars than the Trinovids.
