Thanks for looking.  I have been interested in wildlife photography, but not
too sure how to get started, aside from getting out and looking for stuff.
The longest lens I have is the Canon 2.8L 70-200, which at least I think is
very good.  A 1.4 extender takes it to 280, with evidently good results from
what I read.  The Canon 300 2.8 is supposed to be excellent, as it should be
for $6,800 plus a 1.4 extender to get to 420.  One of these days soon I
hope.

Me too!  I'd crop a little off the bottom but even as it is this is
excellent.
