I don't think he is capable of dropping it; I suspect a raccoon. However, this squirrel is different from the others because the upper side of his tail is blonde, almost red. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Caught+Red-Tailed.jpg.html When I attached the Leica Telyt-R 250 and went back outside, he quickly went up his favorite oak tree and "hid" behind the wires. I shot an image, wires and all. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/OldNick/Treed.jpg.html I am impressed with the detail from the X-E1/250 Telyt combination in this first attempt.
