[Leica] Barcelona alternative

For the 99% of Luggers who didn't go to Barcelona, here is an enjoyable 
alternative. If you live in the US northeast be sure to visit the 
Carriage Barn Art Center annual members show. The Carriage Barn is in 
New Canaan, CT, about a 40 minute drive up the Merritt Parkway from 
NYC. It is an unjuried show, Members are free to submit one new work of 
their choosing, painting, sculpture, collage, photograph, you name it. 
Since most of the Carriage Barn members are connected with the New York 
visual arts media in a major way, either as photographers, painters, 
advertizing executives, gallery owners, or medial buyers, the exhibited 
pieces are professional works of a very high order. They foreshadow 
what the visual arts trend will be in the coming year. If you want to 
sell your stuff to the media, this show is a must. True you will miss 
out on the tapas, senioritas, and conversation with Leica fanatics but 
you will have a valuable learning experience. The Carriage Barn show 
runs until Sept. 30. Look up Carriage Barn Art Center in Google for 
directions.
