Gerry, my friend Ian's funeral was Saturday. He was my age and died of
motor neurone disease. I've not shared the last months with someone who
slipped away with so much dignity. I missed the funeral, of course, but
the reports were as 'expected'. A great day to remember one of life's good
people who in his quite way affected the lives of so many. They held the
funeral on Saturday because so many people wanted to attend. I hope your
day is as 'good' as it can be, as for me its a time we celebrate our
friends and loved ones. Our thoughts are with you at this 'special' if
trying time.
