In the half dozen times I've been in Florence, I never attempted that climb. Should you find yourself in Milan, You can go to the top of the Duomo, first by elevator, with only two flights of stairs to climb. It is well worth the trip. The roof is, like everything else in Italy, made of solid marble! Don't go if it rains. -----Original Message----- From: Tina Manley Sent: Sunday, November 17, 2013 2:30 AM To: MUGers at yahoogroups.com ; Leica Users Group ; paw ; seephoto ; Olympus Camera Discussion Subject: [Leica] IMG: B&B in Florence PESO: This is the view from our B&B in Florence: http://www.pbase.com/tinamanley/image/153407148 Perspectives corrected in PS! Six tiny rooms on the fifth floor of a building half a block from the Duomo. Very nice. We climbed to the top of the Campanile - 414 steps. Views were spectacular even on a gray day. C&C greatly appreciated. Tina -- Tina Manley http:// <http://tina-manley.artistwebsites.com/>www.tinamanley.com _______________________________________________ Leica Users Group.
