For many people in the circumstances they ordinarily encounter it's a good solution, for others it's not. I'd be delighted if people avoided these absolute pronouncements because more often than not, YMMV. as i get older my eyesight is not improving yet i feel more strongly that manual focus is vital, especially to h?ve the point of focus on my control not the cameras...
