Ask a general question... get an answer of, " Please give me a specific situation to answer to:... Ask a specific question, get an answer of... " That is not generally true....." \Went on like this for an hour.... As far as I could tell, no question was answered. Doug,, this is about focusing for amateurs/mere mortals, of which I think you are well above.....and I did define it as so..... MF, and especially M cameras, are less than optimum for accurate focus using todays available cameras. Whatever their limitations of camera design, they are not optimum. Sorry that you do not like my prediction of the future of cameras..... in a few years, we will see whether the prediction was right.... You are, of course, entitled to your own opinions.
