Of the 5000 photos that I took in Italy, about 500 will end up with a stock
agency.  Of the 500 that go to the agency, about 50 will eventually be
leased.  That seems to be a pretty normal ratio for stock.  I'll be lucky
if I find a couple to add to my portfolio.  I will print and send about 200
photos back to the people in Italy who helped me.  I sent quite a few back
last year and they were framed and displayed in the fattoria this year.

Lightroom makes it so much easier to edit many photos.  I remember spending
weeks bent over a light table using a loupe to examine my film after every
trip!
