You're just going to have to go back and investigate further. Very disappointing :-) The bike is a Harley badged Aermacchi two stroke from the late 60s - probably a M65 but it may be a M50. Around that time, Aermacchi made some lovely racing four strokes - the flat single 350cc which was quite amazing for a pushrod machine and ably ridden by the late Brian Steenson and Kel Carruthers. Always wanted one. Douglas
