Sounds like a plan to me, Ted!! We are spending Christmas alone since our
grandkids went to Chicago to visit their other grandparents. We thought
about not even putting up a tree but we have so many cedars here that need
to be cut down! We found one about 7 feet tall and put it on the porch.
After Christmas, I'll decorate it with treats for the birds and put it in
the yard. It's not much of a Christmas without kids around but we'll make
the best of it!! In the meantime, we have two more kids that might provide
local grandkids in the future ;-)
It's 78 degrees in my kitchen right now and we have the attic fan going.
Not Christmas weather at all! It's supposed to get cold by Christmas day
and I hope it does. This heat wave is not conducive to a yule log in the
fireplace!
Best wishes for a very merry Christmas and happy New Year. We'll see you
in NYC!!
