I visited my daughter just before the Changeover and we took the same stroll. I took this: www.sonc.com/HK.htm and Joseph Yao later told me it was shot in front of his house. Funny, in my travels I visited a pottery shop in Central, and later, I overheard an Aussie couple trying to make themselves understood to a Chinese woman (imagine that!) trying to find the same. I butted in, giving directions to the escalator, and what level to get off. They were happy, the Chinese woman was relieved, and I was proud to be able to give directions after only six days in Hong Kong.
