Mind you, it was as high as 12 degrees yesterday when I was replacing the headlamp unit in my son's car. The glass had been shattered so nowadays you have to replace the whole headlamp casing/nacelle. That was one fiddly job. I thought it would take me about ten minutes, but lost an hour doing it. He's away skiing and isn't very techie - none of them are. They've grown up in a "replace it" society, whereas us older people learnt how to mend things. At this stage I wish to thank my parents for giving me a Meccano set when I was a youngster :-) Here's today's forecast for Dublin and bary. Bray is about 12 miles south of Dublin.
