Tonight I was at a Compagnons de Bordeaux dinner which featured Y '07 the dry white from d'Yquem, Grand Puy Lacoste '98, Palmer '98, and d'Yquem '99. It was a struggle to best them, but someone had to gird their loins. My loins were girded for the betterment of the LUG. I'm glad you put your faith in me, and I'd like to thank you all for forcing me to such suffering on your behalf. I'm still breathing, but it was a close run thing....
