Armed with your advice, I'll have to do a bit more sports photography again. I never used a 300, but am thinking I'll get one for the replacement for my Nikon D200 when I upgrade it. My son has stopped football, and I'm more confined to the house with my wife's illness these days, but I'll eventually have more time.
