I am not going to post my set of gourmet dining pictures - Alastair's more than adequately tell the story - but I am posting a couple of pictures of the vultures coming in to land. The zebra feast was like a busy airport with the birds lining up to land like big jets coming into a major airport. One curiosity for me was the way the vultures lowered their heads on final approach - like the old Concorde dipping its nose as it came into land. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Tanza2014/LandVulturew.jpg.html> and closer to touch down - you can see the eating action on the zebra in the right side of the picture. <http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Howard+Cummer/Tanza2014/LndVult2w.jpg.html> This exercise was a bit of a test of the follow focus capabilities of the XT 1 equipped with the 55 - 200 zoom. It did pretty well but there was some wandering in and out of focus as I tracked the birds down. Still, when focus was hit - it was very sharp. Please look large - C& C always welcome Howard
