That is a bit of a trend across various discussions. I don't believe that people who use or would like an M are the primary target market for this camera. Although perhaps some may buy one as a back-up or more compact camera to carry for some applications? My first impression looking at this new design is that it may be competing directly against their own X series for some desires while trying to be a premium priced alternative to the Sonys and Samsungs and the like? It appears to have the same sensor as the X series I think it will be interesting to take a look at whenever they are available, especially how well that new EVF (with GPS!) performs.
