I'm at the UCD Med Center now after about twelve hours split between two 
ERs. Waiting for the ortho guys to come chat. The CT scan showed a worse 
break than was thought.

But I'm resting easy, no pain beyond hunger and a headache. Jan spent the 
night in a sleeper chair.

I have stories from the ER but it's not right to share them here. My roomie, 
who came in about 4 AM has bladder cancer and intense pain. Not a lot of 
sleep here.

Thanks to everyone who sent well wishes. It means a lot.

Dear. Broke my right femur about half way down the hip replacement. Ick. Not 
a goo
