The color works as form in the image with a nice triad of red shirt, rose, and lipstick creating more of a feast for the eye whereas the bw version only accentuates the subjects countenance..which may be a better choice depending on your preferences about the subjects countenance, but the composition is lost in the bw IMO. If the flesh tones were subdued? Maybe not, but the guy in yellow has to disappear...change his jacket red :) On Mon, May 5, 2014 at 8:19 PM, Lluis Ripoll < lluisripollphotography at gmail.com> wrote: > Thank you Ken, yes I think I?ve do a color version too saturated > > Cheers > Lluis > > > El 06/05/2014, a las 01:47, Ken Carney <kcarney1 at cox.net> escribi?: > > > Yes she is, but prettier in b&w...for me. > > > > On 5/5/2014 4:26 PM, Lluis Ripoll wrote: > >> A pretty girl found today in La Rambla with a nice red flower > >> > >> Nicole > >> < > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/luisrq/La+Rambla/20140505_L1041866.jpg.html > > > >> > >> Nicole B&W > >> < > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/luisrq/La+Rambla/20140505_L1041866BW.jpg.html > > > >> > >> As a Spanish Song ? ?Una morena y una rubia? > >> < > http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/luisrq/La+Rambla/20140505_L1041869.jpg.html > > > >> > >> Leica M9, Summilux 35 pre > >> > >> Thanks!
