Lets say if you shoot 10,000 frames a year with your 50/1.4, and then switch to the ASPH 'cron for a year for another 10,000 frames. I highly doubt there will be a handful of prints that will stand out because of the ASPH lens. But hey, if you have $$$ to use, no one will stop you from buying that lens!
