Even if there is not a great amount of mist, like this year, the mist trail is always fun and is a must on any trip. Lots of large, uneven stairs. Not so bad when it is dry. I don't think they are OSHA approved. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0598.jpg.html And one must always be friendly to the visitors. My wife likes to take other people's photos http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0603.jpg.html Many techniques are used to balance yourself on the way up, and especially down http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0605.jpg.html Onward and upward http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0609.jpg.html My wife takes a breather at the only mostly dry spot through the mist. http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0610.jpg.html And if you are lucky, you get a treat at the end of the mist part of the trail http://gallery.leica-users.org/v/Aram/s4/y/Vernal+Falls+trail-0614.jpg.html The trail proceeds further to the top of Vernal falls, but we rarely go there. Most waterfalls don't look that great from the top. View large for the full effect, even thought there is no Leica content in these. Comments welcome. Aram Aram Langhans (Semi) Retired (retarded?)
