Gene ----- Original Message ----- From: "Doug Herr" <wildlightphoto at earthlink.net> To: lug at leica-users.org Sent: Tuesday, June 24, 2014 11:49:48 PM GMT -06:00 US/Canada Central Subject: [Leica] IMG: Western Tanager I've been working on several photos from last weekend (which I'll post eventually) but this one stands out IMHO: http://www.wildlightphoto.com/birds/cardinalidae/wetana01.html Because of the blotchy lighting I used 5 or 6 layers to even out the tonal values (more or less). Technical stuff: R8/DMR, 280mm f/4 APO-Telyt-R, tripod & blind. All comments welcome.
