I don't know about that, but I did use "mineral water" for the developer, filtered tap water for fixer and wash, and distilled with Photo Flo for the final rinse. Our regional supplier of mineral drinking water is probably not unique. They bring it up from a well, distill it, and add exactly the same amount of minerals. So, the water is the same from session to session. Just a thought.
